Deligeorges Family Scholarship in Bioengineering

The Deligeorges Family Scholarship is a gift of the Deligeorges family of Waterford, CT, to undergraduate students who have a significant interest in Bioengineering related research. This year, the PNB Department anticipates awarding scholarships of up to $2,000 each.

 

Students from Physiology and Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular and Cell Biology or related departments with an interest in Bioengineering are encouraged to apply. Applicants may major in any discipline buy they must be participating in, or be planning to participate in bioengineering related research.

Scholarship recipients may begin their research as early as the summer of 2021 and are expected to continue their research through the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

  • Personal Resume
  • Letter of Support from the Faculty Research Mentor
  • Most recent transcripts

The one-page statement of the research project should outline the project objectives, methods, and the applicant’s role in the project. The personal resume should highlight any previous laboratory or research experience.
